RARE GOLDEN SWEET POD PEA FROM INDIA , (Pisum sativum var. macrocarpon), 60-72 days, three foot vines produce a good crop of lemon yellow snow peas. Pick when very flat. These are a great discovery and were collected from a market in India ! Absolutely beautiful RARE peas.

CAPUCIJNER' S PURPLE POD (AKA Capucijner's Blue Pod or Dutch Grey), 80 days, strong vines of 5-6 feet produce an abundant harvest of beautiful RARE purple pods. Can be used as snow peas when young and dried as soup peas later on. Developed by the Capuchin Monks in Europe in the 1500's.

ARGENTEUM PEA - RARE 75 days, AKA Silver Leaf Pea. Two foot plants with distinct silvery leaves, two-tone purple flowers. An absolutely beautiful garden pea.

ERVILHA TORTA FLOR ROXA - Peas are sometimes mottled. Supposed to be a Red Flowering Pea, but I forgot to look at the flowers to see if it was true. From Brazil .

PETIT POIS PROVENCAL - (Pisum sativum var. sativum) Short Plants that produce a nice table pea.
TOM THUMB - A miniature garden/table pea. Very cute. Good production and taste.
PURPLE PASSION PEAS (Pisum sativum var. sativum) extremely rare, purple pea. This is NOT the same as Capucijner Purple pea. This has purple flowers, purple peas (when dried) and purple pods. 80 days, may be more of a soup pea than a garden pea.

MARROWFAT - (Pisum sativum var. arvense), 60-72 days, British shell/table pea. Different from the American soup/canning pea of the 1800's.

ANDREW KENT - (Phaseolus vulgaris) - 90 days, This is a great soup and baking bean. It has red streaks on a beige-ish backgroud. A RARE Heirloom from Scotland.


IRELAND CREEK ANNIE - (Phaseolus vulgaris), Dry Bush Bean, early maturing. This pale beige-green-yellowish bean did very well in my garden, despite the drought, humidity and heat. Definitely mildew and mold resistant, since it is one of the few that demonstrated this characteristic this spring during the constant light drizzles. Good yields. Brought from England in the 1920's. RARE Heirloom.

MARFAX - (Phaseolus vulgaris), 80-85 days, Beautiful antique gold colored soup bean. From New England. RARE Heirloom.

MONEY - (Phaseolus vulgaris), 80-85 days, Good yields of red mottled pink beans. From England. Another pretty RARE Heirloom.

SWEDISH BROWN - (Phaseolus vulgaris), 85 days, Dry Bush Bean, abundant yields of a very pretty golden brown beans. Very nice flavor. RARE Heirloom from 1890's.

UKRANIAN COMRADES - (Phaseolus vulgaris) This is an incredible snap bush bean and is extremely RARE. Believe it or not, there are both black and golden beans in the pods.

PEPA DE ZAPALLO - (Phaseolus vulgaris) Dry Bush Bean, 85 days, This is a gorgeous gold seed with maroon swirls. RARE from Chile .
