JOHN BAER (AKA Bonny Best)- Indeterminate - 70 days - Red. Old time favorite with medium sized red globes that are solid, meaty and tasty. High yields on vigorous plants.

JUMBO JIM - Indeterminate - 80 days,- Orange - Regular Leaf. This variety has a great production of bright Orange fruits that are WONDERFUL tasting.

KALMAN’S HUNGARIAN PINK - Indeterminate - 85 days – Pink. Oval shaped, wonderful tasting tomato. Kalman Lajvort remembers his grandfather growing this tomato when he was a child in Hungary. Kalman brought it to America in 1967. From Kalman Lajvort, Edison, NJ.

KARALEROVO PLUM - Indeterminate - 82 days – Black- Cherry. This is a really ice little pear shaped plum tomato that looks and acts just like Black Plum. However, this is the name it was imported with.

MAMA MIA PASTE - Determinate - 70 days- Red. A large red italian plum, nice roma type. Did very well for me during the drought and heat. An American Horticultural Society gift in 1994.

MANALUCIE - Indeterminate - 82 days - Red. Perfect for the heat of the south because of its ability to do well despite drought, humidity and all the other problems in the south. Large, deep globes, very smooth, firm, meaty, thick walled.

MANITOBA - Determinate - 70 days - Red. 3.25: x 2.75:, Just as tasteless as Oregon Spring and Glacier. The Russian tomatoes that I have are great substitutes that really do taste like tomatoes. Matina is one of my favorite Reds that is very early and prolific and tastes like a normal tomato.

MARIANNA'S PEACE - Indeterminate - 80 days - Pink - Potato Leaf. This variety produces about 1 lb fruits, pinkish red, beefsteak type. Very nice tomato, similar to other pink Russian tomatoes

MARITIME PINK - Indeterminate - 69 days – Pink. Deep rose pink fruits weigh 5-7 oz. Good flavor. From Sakhalin Island, Siberia.

MARIZOL GOLD - BEEFSTEAK - Indeterminate - 85 days – Bicolor – Regular Leaf. Deep gold with red blush on blossom end and red streaks throughout flesh. Flat, ribbed, 1-2 lbs. Joe Bratka's grandfather brought it to American in late 1800's from the Black Forest region of Germany. Seeds may germinate in over-ripe fruit. Heirloom.

MARIZOL PURPLE - Indeterminate -80 days – Dark Pink. Large, smooth, sweet tomato. 8-16 oz. Vigorous plants and good yields. High acid. Late 1800's Heirloom from the Black Forest region of Germany.

MARKET KING - Indeterminate - 75 days - Red. Good producer of 1 x 2.5" great tasting fruit. Clusters of 8-12 and up to 20 clusters per plant. Once a commercial variety in England but has been discontinued due to Common Market agreement. (very similar, if not the same as Money Maker)

MARMANDE - BEEFSTEAK - Determinate - 67 days -Red. Large, firm, round, lobed, high-ribbed shoulders. Bears well even in cool weather. 8 oz, meaty. Did wonderful in the drought and heat. French Heirloom.

MARTINO'S ROMA PASTE - Determinate - 75 days – Red. Pear tomatoes, 2 oz, 3" long. Meaty with few seeds and not much juice. Compact plants have rugose, dark green foliage. Extremely productive. Heirloom.

MARY REYNOLDS - BEEFSTEAK - Indeterminate -80 days – Orange – Regular Leaf. This large fruit was kept for many years by Mrs. Reynolds of Natural Bridge, VA. A classic heirloom.

MARY ROBINSON’S GERMAN BICOLOR - Indeterminate - 80 days – Bicolor – Regular Leaf. Good yield of large sized tomatoes. This is a beautiful tomatoe with its red and yellow coloring. It was a beefsteak that was slightly pointed at the blossom end sometimes, but not quite an oxheart shape. It is definitely different from the other beefsteak bicolors. Good flavor, pretty much blemish free, VERY nice.

MATINA - Indeterminate - 65 days - Red. A very prolific producer of round red medium sized great tasting tomatoes. It is also extremely early. This is the perfect solution for the watery, tasteless Oregon Spring, Manitoba, and Glacier.

MENNONITE ORANGE - Indeterminate - 80 days - Regular Leaf. A good sized beefsteak that is a beautiful orange color. Great flavor and yield. A Pennsylvania German Mennonite Heirloom.

MINI ORANGE - Indeterminate - 80 day – Orange - Regular Leaf. Good sized plants with an enormous crop of salad sized bright orange fruits. They are too big to be called a cherry and too small to be called medium. Very striking out in the garden and they taste good too!

MISSION DYKE - Indeterminate - 65-75 days – Pink – Regular Leaf. , Prolific plant, disease resistant. Very large, beautiful deep pink globes, somewhat ribbed, superb flavor.

MISSOURI PINK LOVE APPLE - BEEFSTEAK - Indeterminate - 80 days – Pink – Regular Leaf High yield of large pink beefsteak fruits with a great flavor. Grandpa Barnes grew it during the Civil War era an ornamental because he didn't think it was edible. It has been in the Jennings family ever since. Great Midwestern heirloom and definitely different.

MONEY MAKER - Indeterminate - 77 days - Red - Regular Leaf. One of the oldest heirloom varieties in the world. Smallish 2.5" fruits are bright red, smooth, round, uniform,meaty and flavorful. Clustered in groups of 6-10 fruits. Very reliable. Heirloom from Bristol, England. (see Market King)

MOUNTAIN PRINCESS - Determinate - 68 days - Red. 8 oz. fruit is round, smooth, and solid. Bright red flesh has a nice flavor. Very productive. Grown for generations in the mountain climate of the Monongahela National Forest Region of West Virginia.
