SANDUL MOLDOVAN - BEEFSTEAK - Indeterminate - 85 days - Pink. This variety produces a good yield of large 16 ounce, pinkish, slightly flattened fruit. It is blemish free with slightly green shoulders It is very pretty and has a wonderful flavor. This is an Heirloom variety from the Sandul family of Moldova via Andy Durbak of Albany, NY.

(Difficult to germinate. I recommend starting them in moist paper towels, in a ziploc baggie in a warm place. Check every day after 6 days. ) Grown since early 1900's in Sheboygan, WI by Lithuanian immigrants. (Seed Packet is 10 seeds).

It is HUGE and has a wonderful flavor and a very good production. This is a very different tomato for those tomato fanatics that are looking something different that also tastes good.

SILVERY FIR TREE (AKA Carrot Top) - Determinate -5 8 days - Red. 3"-4" flattened, oblate fruits. Deep red to slightly orangish, acidic. Unusual lacy fern-like foliage of silvery-grey color. It can be grown in a container.

The fruit is a medium sized beefsteak but is more oblate than round in shape. Small plants produce these slightly ribbed 8 – 12 ounce fruits. From Estonia.

SOLDAKI - BEEFSTEAK - Indeterminate - 75 days – Pink - Potato leaf. Low acid, intensely tart-sweet flavor. Flattened in shape, weigh about 16 oz, firm flesh, thin skins. Somewhat rough, 5' vines, good canned. Productive, meaty. Polish Heirloom from Krakow, Poland to Cleveland, OH, about 1900, then to Albany, NY. Blemish free.

SOUTHERN NIGHT - BEEFSTEAK - Indeterminate - 65-85 days – Pink – Potato Leaf. A prolific bearer of oval, 10 oz, 3"-5" in diameter fruit. This tomato is more of a pink / grey / deep mahogany with slightly green shoulders. It is wonderful canned and mixed with others tomatoes in salsas and soup mixes. Russian heirloom.

Seed was brought back from Italy by Tom Patti in the early 1960's. Has been a local favorite ever since. Similar to Amish Paste, but has a better taste. Seed packet is 10 seeds.
