Angelo's Italian Red Indeterminate-75 days. regular leaf. Nice large red beefsteak. Prolific producer of nice looking fruit that weighed about 12-14 oz.
Braggar Indeterminate-85 days, Red, large beefsteak with good flavor. This is an old time favorite that is very difficult to find. AKA Bragger. (Seed Packet 10-12 Seeds)
Costoluto Genovese Indeterminate-90 days. Large, deep red, and ribbed beefsteak. Does well in hot weather. Italian Heirloom from Italian Riviera.

Marglobe Select Indeterminate-75 days. Large red oblate globes, sweet, thick walled and meaty. A really good tomato.

1884 Indeterminate-85 days, regular leaf. Fair production of HUGE Pink Beefsteak fruits. The plant was discovered by Mr. Williamson near Friendly, West Virginia, in a pile of flood debris in 1884. Nice large beefsteak with a good flavor.

Boondocks Indeterminate-70-80 days, pink/purple. Potato leaf. Rampant vines with gigantic leaves. Average set of flattened globes weighing up to 1 lb. Green Shoulders. Excellent flavor. A Joe Bratka tomato.
Brandywine Pink Indeterminate-75-85 days, pink. Potato leaf. Nice flavor, and good size on a well growing vine. This is the true Brandywine from the Ben Quisenberry collection.
Brimmer Pink Indeterminate-75 days, Regular foliage, a very nice medium sized tomato.
Caspian Pink Indeterminate-75 days, Regular foliage, Large Pink Beefsteak, Wonderful flavor, much better than Brandywine. It also grew better than Brandywine. Grown in Russia between the Caspian and Black Seas. Russian Variety.
Cherokee Purple Indeterminate-80-90 days, pink/purple. Round to oblate, tolerance to mild drought, greenish shoulders. 8-12 oz., 6-10 cm round. Tennessee Heirloom, Cherokee Tribe.
German Pink Indeterminate-80 days, potato leaf. Good yields of large pink beefsteaks. Nice tomato.
Giant Belgium Indeterminate -82 days. Regular leaf. Large sweet fruits that weigh at least 1+ pounds. It is said that old-timers made wine from these. Great flavor.
Gillogly Pink Indeterminate-85 days, regular leaf. Very nice yield of huge uniform pink beefsteaks weighing at least 1 lb. Great flavor and appearance. Has been in the Gillogly family of Vinton Co., OH for at least 85 years.

Heart of the Bull Indeterminate-85 days. Firm meaty fruit with few seeds. From Italy. Rare.
Holmes Mexican Indeterminate-85 days, Good yields of pink, flattened, beefsteaks. Good taste and yield.
Mexico Indeterminate-80 days, regular leaf. Nice yield of enormous 1+ lb. fruitpink. Very meaty and it has a nice flavor. From a Mexican family living in the midwest.
Missouri Pink Love Apple Indeterminate-80 days. Regular leaf. High yield of large pink beefsteak fruits with a great flavor. Grandpa Barnes grew it during the Civil War era as scenery because he didn't think it was for eating. It has been in the Jennings family ever since. Great midwestern heirloom and definitely different.

Pink Indeterminate-90 pink. Flat globe, 3" x 4", pink skin and flesh. Very pretty tomato and good flavor. Incredibly sturdy vines.
Ponderosa Pink Indeterminate-95 days, rosy pink. Beefsteak type, extra large, almost seedless, up to 1 lb. Low acid, solid, meaty. From Cittig Luxembourg, approximately 1870.
Prude Indeterminate-80 days, Good yields of large purple/pink beefsteaks. Very nice appearance taste.
Pruden's Purple Indeterminate-80 days, potato leaf. Good yields of large purple beefsteaks. Good appearance and tasted good, too!
Rose Indeterminate-80 days, rose purple. Regular leaf. Vibrant plant, that can grow over 8 feet. Produces gorgeous glowing rose-purple 1 pound+ fruits. The fruits are somewhat fluted, very sweet and juicy and meaty. Very Productive. These are one of my favorites!
Russian Rose Indeterminate-80 dys, Regular foliage, Large Rose colored Beefsteak, about 12 ounces. Wonderful flavor. Russian Variety. From Novorossiyk, Russia
Sandul Moldovan Indeterminate-85 days, pink. Lots of 16 oz slightly flattened round fruit. Typical beefsteak size and shape. Great flavor with a good high sugar/high acid balance. Blemish free, green shoulders. Heirloom from Sandul family of Moldova in the Moldovan Region via Andy Durbak, Albany, NY.
Soldaki Indeterminate-75 days, pink. Potato leaf. Low acid, intensely tart-sweet flavor. Flattened in shape, weigh about 16 oz, firm flesh, thin skins. Somewhat rough, 5' vines, good canned. Productive, meaty. Polish Heirloom from Krakow, Poland to Cleveland, OH, about 1900, then to Albany, NY. Blemish free.
Southern Night Indeterminate-65-85 days, pink/grey-deep mahogany. Potato leaf. Oval, 10 oz, 3"-5" diameter, green shouldered. Russian beefsteak heirloom. Wonderful canned and mixed with others. Prolific.
Tappy's Finest Indeterminate-90 days, pink. Firm texture, 3" diameter, 15 oz, rich flavor, a meaty Beefsteak with very few seeds. Family Heirloom since before 1948 in WV. Origin Italy.
Tiffen Mennonite Indeterminate-75-85 days, pink. Potato leaf. Large Beefsteak , with an outstanding flavor and smoothly textured flesh. Somewhat similar to Brandywine. 6-16 oz, good yield. Heirloom from the Mennonites.
Amana Orange Indeterminate-90 days, orange. An Iowa heirloom from Amana, Iowa. Large, up to 5" in diameter, mild flavor.
Azoychka Russian Determinate-81 days, deep yellow. Potato leaf. Russian heirloom from elderly seedsman at the Bird Market in Moscow. Collected by Seed Savers Exchange. Old Beefsteak type, 10 oz, 3" diameter, unusual citrus flavor. Very good.
Dr. Wyche's Yellow Indeterminate-80 days, yellow. Regular leaf. Golden-yellow, varies from up to 1.5 pounds. Slightly flattened, meaty with few seeds. Unblemished, smooth, Good productivity, rich flavor, 5 ft vines.
Elbe Indeterminate-89 days, yellow/orange. Potato leaf. Named after the Elbe River in Germany. Beefsteak type has been an old heirloom favorite since 1889. Sweet, tart, 8-12 oz, needs steaking.
Elfie Indeterminate-85 days, regular. Very good production of large yellow beefsteaks with a touch of green on the shoulders. Crack free, good taste, not many seeds. Very nice tomato.
Golden Ponderosa Indeterminate-80 days, golden-yellow. Large, meaty, smooth, solid, mild, low acid and sweet. Flattened, round to oblong, thin-skinned.
Goldie Indeterminate-85-95 days, golden. (AKA Yellow Giant Belgium) 150 year old heirloom. Giant, slightly flattened beefsteaks, mild, non-acid.
Hugh's Indeterminate-90 days, streaked. Tall heavy plants, fruits up to 2.5 lbs., pale yellow with a touch of red on blossom end. Very meaty, thin skinned. Delicious. Huge production. (Midwest heirloom from Madison County, IN)
Kentucky Beefsteak Indeterminate-95, orange. Regular leaf. Enormous fruits, up to 2 lbs. Pretty, globe to oval-shaped, beautiful deep orange. Heirloom from Eastern Kentucky.
Lillian's Yellow Heirloom Indeterminate-95 days, potato leaf. Beefsteak, 12-16 oz, mild, rich, juicy, few seeds. Bright yellow with green shoulders, vigorous vines, low production. Superb flavor
Mary Reynolds Indeterminate-80 days, regular leaf. An orange colored very large fruit. Kept for many years by Mrs. Reynolds of Natural Bridge, Virginia . A classic heirloom.
Old Wyandotte Indeterminate-70-75 days, yellow to orange. Regular leaf. large beefsteaks, somewhat lobed and flattened. One of my favorite old timey heirlooms.
Aunt Ruby's German Green Indeterminate-75-85 days. Regular leaf. Huge, vigorous plant. 12-18 oz, light green, beefsteak type fruit with slight pinkish blush on blossom end. Pulp is light green with bright green gel. Excellent flavor and texture, good slicer or for salads. An outstanding green variety. Great production.
Dorothy's Green Indeterminate-80 days. Large beefsteak, one pound, sweet and tart, with spicy overtones. Heirloom variety.
Evergreen Indeterminate-72 days. Regular leaf. (AKA Emerald, or Emerald Evergreen) Mild, firm, solid, med to large. Oblate and oblong beefsteak shape. Bright green flesh, skin has a slight yellow tinge when ripe. Makes a lovely green salsa. Good for frying or canning
Green Velvet Indeterminate-80 days. This is a really different tomato. The outside is a strange color of orange overlaid with green, or vice versa. Inside it is a beautiful lime green throughout. It has a simply wonderful flavor and I would recommend it to anyone willing to try a different colored tomato. The production of the regular leaf plant was enormous and the taste superb, so it is highly recommended! In slices, it would be a beautiful EDIBLE green garnish. They are a medium beefsteak.
Black Krim Indeterminate-69 days. Regular leaf. Ugly color but delicious!! Dark, deep red, with heavy green shoulders. Interior deep, reddish-green color. Sweet. up to 1 pound, Darker in hot weather. Heirloom from Black Sea of Russia. The tomato in the lower right corner

Burracker's Favorite Indeterminate-82 days, egular leaf. Huge red/orange bicolored fruits. From the territory of Burracker's Hollow in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Nice flavor and appearance.
Georgia Streak Indeterminate-85 days, regualr leaf. Bicolor fruits are rich gold in color, blushed with delicate pink. Flesh streaked with red inside. Large, globe-shaped fruits weigh 1-2 lbs. and have a sweet, full flavor. Tomato in the lower left corner
German Gold Indeterminate-88 days, streaked. Huge 12 oz and larger. Flattened fruits, orange yellow in color with a pink/red star burst, wonderful flavor. 1890 heirloom from Germany.

Marizol Gold Indeterminate-85 days, streaked. Reg. leaf. Deep gold with red blush on blossom end and red streaks throughout flesh. Flat, ribbed, 1-2 lbs. Joe Bratka's grandfather brought it to American in late 1800's from the Black Forest region of Germany. (Seed Packet 10-12 Seeds)
Oaxacan Jewel Indeterminate-85 days, Very nice bi-color tomato, Orange and red streaking, good yield and flavor.
Shenandoah Indeterminate-75-85 days, regular leaf, bicolor. Huge, often 1.5-2 lbs, with an unusual boat shape. Golden-yellow, with reddish pink streaks. Heirloom of the Mennonites of Virginia Shenandoah Valley, VA. AKA Old German, and Mammoth German Gold.
Regina's Yellow Indeterminate-85 days, streaked. Regular leaf. Very large plant. Excellent flavor. From Regina Yanci, Mineral City, OH.
ARMENIAN Indeteterminate -85 days, regular foilage. One pound, flattened and somewhat scalloped fruits, on 4 ft vines. Very good flavor and juice content, orange/yellow flesh with red bi-colored mottling or streaks. Meaty Beefsteak type. Not seedy or dry.
BASINGA Indeteterminate, 80 days. Clear Yellow with a pink blush, two shapes on vines, supposed to be a pale yellow heart shaped tomato, but I had lovely pale yellow beefsteaks and hearts.
BLUE Estonian-Determinate, 61 days , 3 ft plant, potato leaf, brown w/green shoulders, from Estonia.
COLORADO RED Indeterminate - 78 days, Regular leaf. 4 ft vine, good tasting salad sized, medium red Beefsteak fruit.
KHABAROVSKY Determinate- 78 days. Short stocky plant produces a pinkish/red medium beefsteak fruit.
MASLOV'S GIANT Indeterminate, - 78days, regular leaf. Four foot vines produced a good sized crop of large, red, flattened beefsteaks. From Russia
SINIY Estonian Determinate - 70 days, potato leaf. A pink/ blackish oblate medium sized beefsteak tomato. Two and one half foot plants produce 8- 12 oz, slightly ribbed fruits. From Estonia
Halfmoon China Indeterminate, 80 days. These beautiful tomatoes are a white tomato and they they range from white to pale yellow. The regular leaf plants produce a good sized crop of these medium beefsteak tomatoes. (seed packet 10 seeds)

Bull's Heart Indeterminate-87 days, pink. Regular leaf. Oxheart type, sweet, up to 2 lbs. Good canner. Sometimes grows 2 fruits together to look like a double heart. Old Russian tomato from the Vavilov Institute.
Mother Russia Indeterminate-80 days, regular leaf. Enormous meaty, pink heart-shaped fruits on good sized plants. Very nice flavor.
Red Butter Heart Indeterminate-85 days, regular leaf. Enormous heart-shaped fruits that are incredibly meaty and have very few seeds! Very nice mild tomato taste.

Once a common commercial variety in England but has been discontinued due to Common Market agreement. (very similar, if not the same as Money Maker, which is also from England)

Matina -- Indeterminate - 65 days. A very prolific producer of round red medium sized great tasting tomatoes. It is also extremely early. This is the perfect solution for the watery, tasteless Oregon Spring, Manitoba, and Glacier.

Money Maker -- Indeterminate-77 days. Regular leaf. One of the oldest heirloom varieties in the world. Smallish 2.5" fruits are bright red, smooth, round, uniform, meaty and flavorful. Clustered in groups of 6-10 fruits. Very reliable. Heirloom from Bristol, England. (very similar, if not the same as Market King, which is also from England)
Muchamiel -- Indeterminate-75 days, Medium sized red fruit 100-180 grams. Slightly flat, and somewhat ribbed, yellow-green shoulders, good taste. From Spain. Means "much honey" in Spanish (10 seeds per packet)
Mule Team -- Indeterminate-80 days. Regular Leaf. Large plant, with excellent set of 8-12 oz red-orange globes, excellent taste, long season. Tolerates heat well. Great disease resistance.
Old '49er -- Indeterminate-80-85 days. Regular leaf. Medium sized red fruits. Prolific. Vigorous plants. Excellent flavor, (Packet 10 Seeds)

Pantano Romanesco -- Indeterminate-70 days, regular leaf plant. Plants produced a good yield of red, ribbed/or slightly ruffled, 10-12 oz fruits. Marmande type. This is a rare Roman Heirloom, from the former marshes near by Rome, Italy.
Paragon -- Indeterminate-75 days. Medium sized, juicy, red tomato. From 1848-Harrison W. Crosby. A Livingston development. Good for canning.
Picardy Tomato -- Indeterminate-76 days. Large vines, needs caging or staking. Fruit is smooth, firm, and meaty. Slightly flattened globe shape with a deep red color. Large first set of medium sized fruit, and continues until frost. Good canned or fresh. Dates back to 1890, from France
Piedmont -- Indeterminate-75 days, regular leaf, nice flavor, good production of 7 - 8 oz fruit.
Ponderosa Red --Indeterminate-85 days. Extra-large, beefsteak. Almost seedless, mild, low acid, solid, meaty, deep red. 3' x 2.5". Introduced in 1892 by Peter Henderson, Seedsman. (AKA Crimson Cushion, Beefsteak)
Pusa Ruby -- Indeterminate-80 days. Red salad tomato, sparse foliage. 2" fruit, very seedy, tart flavor. Extremely productive, good keeper and survives stress well. From India.
Red Chief -- Indeterminate-80 days. Regular leaf. Good yields, smooth medium size globes.
Reif Red Heart --Indeterminate-85 days, regular leaf. Similar to Mexican Ribbed, but less fluting and is more oblong. (Seed Packet 10 Seeds)
Robert Wolfe's -- Indeterminate-75 days. Medium sized plant, 6-10 oz fruit. Very good flavor, nice production, did well despite the drought and heat

Saint Pierre -- Indeterminate-80 days. Cold resistant. Red with green shoulders. Large. Did well despite the heat. Italian despite the French sounding name
Saltspring Sunrise -- Indeterminate-75 days. Medium sized fruit, 6 oz, good flavor and production. From Gulf Islands of British Columbia, adapted to cooler regions
San Francisco Fog -- Indeterminate-70 days, 3 oz, good flavored red fruits on tall productive plants. Well adapted to cool, wet California coastal conditions
Santa Clara Canner -- Indeterminate-80 days, Originated in Italy and was used in the California canning industry. Large harvests of smooth, flattened, intensely red fruit. Delicious. 8-10 oz, juicy, with solid meat.
Sasha's Altai Pride -- Indeterminate-55-60 days, Regular leaf. Beefsteak type, thin skinned, scarlet, 4 oz. sweet and mild. Lacy looking vines. Heirloom from Sasha Stavrov, Irkutsk, Siberia in the Siberian Altai Mountains that border China. (AKA Sasha's Pride, Sasha's Altai)
Spanish Sun -- Indeterminate-80 days, regular. Nice set of medium red tomatoes with a very slight orange-ish cast. Nice flavor and appearance. Weighed about 8 oz. (Seed Packet 10 Seeds)

Swiss Alpine -- Indeterminate-80 days, Brought from Switzerland in 1880's. Small, 4-5 oz, deep red flesh and true, sharp tomato flavor. Highly productive, and even sets fruit in cooler weather
Teton de Venus -- Indeterminate, 75 days, regular leaf, Large good flavored heart shaped tomatoes, a French heirloom (Packet is 10 seeds)
Thessaloniki -- Indeterminate-68 days, Regular leaf. Uniform, round fruits with no blemishes. Resistant to sunburn, cracks and spots. Perfect blossom ends. Mild flavor and refuses to rot. From  Greece
Valiant --Indeterminate-89 days, Regular leaf. (AKA Field's Red Bird) 8 oz fruit, good flavor, great production. Blemish free. VERY RARE. was a free sample in 1984 and 1985 from a commercial company and then dropped. One of my absolute favorites. (Packet 20 Seeds)
Visitation Valley --Indeterminate-70-80 days. Bright red, round fruit, very good flavor, about 7 oz. Named for the San Francisco fog belt where it originated. Rare.
Vogliotti --Indeterminate-80 days, Regular leaf, good production of bright red fruits.
