Perfect for the heat of the south because of its ability to do well despite drought, humidity and all the other problems in the south. Large, deep globes,
very smooth, firm, meaty, thick walled.

MANITOBA - Determinate - 70 days - Red. 3.25: x 2.75:, Just as tasteless as Oregon Spring and Glacier. The Russian tomatoes that I have are great substitutes that really do taste like tomatoes.

MARAZZI'S GIANT - BEEFSTEAK - Indeterminate - 85 days - Red - Regular Leaf.
Good yields of large red
beefsteaks. Mid to late season, Huge tomatoes with a good
flavor.

Good producer of 1 x 2.5" great tasting fruit.
Clusters of 8-12 and up to 20 clusters per plant. Once a
commercial variety in England but has been discontinued
due to Common Market agreement. (very similar, if not the
same as Money Maker)

MARMANDE - BEEFSTEAK - Determinate - 67 days -Red. Large, firm, round,
lobed, high-ribbed shoulders. Bears well even in cool
weather. 8 oz, meaty. Did wonderful in
the drought and heat. French Heirloom.

MONEY MAKER - Indeterminate - 77 days - Red -
Regular Leaf. One of the oldest heirloom varieties in the
world. Smallish 2.5" fruits are bright red, smooth,
round, uniform,meaty and flavorful. Clustered in groups
of 6-10 fruits. Very reliable. Heirloom from Bristol,
England. (see Market King)

MOUNTAIN PRINCESS - Determinate - 68 days - Red. 8 oz. fruit is round,
smooth, and solid. Bright red flesh has a nice flavor.
Very productive. Grown for generations in the mountain
climate of the Monongahela National Forest Region of West
Virginia.

sized red fruit. Slightly flat, and somewhat
ribbed, yellow-green shoulders, good taste. From Spain. Means "much honey" in spanish.

OZARK CHAMPION - Indeterminate - 75 days,
A perfect round red tomato with a prostrate growing habit. This was sent to me as Missouri Pink Love Apple, which it clearly isn't, but it was too prolific and good tasting to dump. So I renamed it. It produces an absolute ton of perfect great tasting tomatoes.
Great for canning or eating.

Large vines, needs caging. Fruit is smooth, firm, and
meaty. Slightly flattened globe shape with a deep red
color. 5 oz, large first set, and continues until frost.
Good canned or fresh. Dates back to 1890, from France.

flavor, great production. Blemish free. VERY RARE. It was a
free sample in 1984 and 1985 from a commercial company
and then dropped. One of my favorite red tomatoes. (Seed Packet is 10 seeds.)

oz. Named for the San Francisco fog belt where it
originated. Rare. The Valley in California is spelled Visitacion Valley.

culture shock here in South Carolina. It is from pleasant
