BLACK KRIM - BEEFSTEAK - Indeterminate - 69 days – Black – Regular Leaf. Ugly but delicious!! Dark, deep red, with heavy green shoulders. Interior deep, reddish-green color. Sweet. 10-12 oz. Darker in hot weather. Prone to cracking, slow to germinate. Heirloom from Black Sea area of Russia.

BLACK PLUM CHERRY - Indeterminate - 82 days - Black. Small elongated oval fruits are a deep mahogany and sweet and fruity. Steady large crop that is unique and tasty. WONDERFUL!Russian.

BLACK PRINCE - Indeterminate - 70 days – Black – Regular Leaf. These are a medium sized tomato that is more heart shaped than round, but with a soft rounded blossom end. My plants were cover with the fruit and each one was beautiful! They are a purplish brown with green shoulders. The appearance was very different from some of my other blacks, but the taste was just as wonderful. I think that the blacks may taste more strongly of tomato than reds, so I always make sure to pop some in each batch of salsa. Originally from Irkutsk, Siberia.

BLACK SEA MAN - Indeterminate - 80 days – Black – Regular Leaf. Plant yields a fair crop of 6-8 oz brownish pink fruit. It doesn't like the heat so it produces less here in the south.

BLUE ESTONIAN 61 – Determinate – 61 days – Other Color – Potato Leaf. Three foot plants produce this uniquely colored brown with green shoulders fruits. From Estonia.

BULL’S HEART - OXHEART - Indeterminate - 87 days - Pink - Regular Leaf. A sweet heart shaped tomato that can weigh up to 2 lbs. Good canner. Said to be difficult to grow, but I grow it every year without problems. Old Russian tomato from the Vavilov Institute.

CASPIAN PINK - BEEFSTEAK - Indeterminate - 75 days – Pink - Regular Leaf. This is a large tomato with a wonderful flavor that is much better than Brandywine. COSMONAUT VOLKOV RED Indeterminate - 75 days - Red - Regular Leaf. Medium-large blockish round red fruit. Very prolific and did well in our heat. Good tomato flavor and appearance. A Ukrainian variety named after the first Russian cosmonaut.

CZECH EXCELLENT YELLOW CHERRY - Indeterminate - 70 days – Yellow. This is a lovely yellow cherry tomato that has a very good production and tastes just as good as it looks. From Czechoslovakia.

SHEBOYGAN PASTE - Indeterminate - 80 days – Pink – Regular Leaf. This is a very pretty pointed pink paste that is very different from all the other pastes that I grow. (Some find this difficult to germinate. I recommend starting them in moist paper towels, in a ziploc baggie in a warm place. Check every day after 6 days. ) Grown since early 1900's in Sheboygan, WI by Lithuanian immigrants. (Seed Packet is 10 seeds).

SIBIRISHE ORANGE -Indeterminate – 85 days – Orange. This is an absolutely gorgeous blocky pear/plum shaped tomato. It is HUGE and has a wonderful flavor and a very good production. This is a very different tomato for those tomato fanatics that are looking something different that also tastes good.

SILVERY FIR TREE (AKA Carrot Top) - Determinate -5 8 days - Red. 3"-4" flattened, oblate fruits. Deep red to slightly orangish, acidic. Unusual lacy fern-like foliage of silvery-grey color. It can be grown in a container.

SINIY ESTONIAN - Determinate - 70 days – Other Color – Potato Leaf. This is a very unusual tomato with a pink/ blackish color. The fruit is a medium sized beefsteak but is more oblate than round in shape. Small plants produce these slightly ribbed 8 – 12 ounce fruits. From Estonia.

SLOVENIAN BLACK - Indeterminate - 80 days – Black – Regular Leaf. Yielded a large amount of round garnet Brown fruit. Looked a lot like a cross between Black Prince and a Black Krim to me, and had the same characteristics. I got two different shapes off the same plant.

SOUTHERN NIGHT - BEEFSTEAK - Indeterminate - 65-85 days – Pink – Potato Leaf. A prolific bearer of oval, 10 oz, 3"-5" in diameter fruit. This tomato is more of a pink / grey / deep mahogany with slightly green shoulders. It is wonderful canned and mixed with others tomatoes in salsas and soup mixes. Russian heirloom.

VENTURA PASTE - Indeterminate - 78 days – Red - Regular Leaf. Small robust plants produce a HUGE crop of plum / tear-dropped shaped paste tomatoes that have a nipple on the end. They are very different and tastey. From Bulgaria.

WONDERLIGHT - (AKA Plum Lemon, "Choodo-Svyeta" or "Limon-Liana" ) - Indeterminate - 78 days – Yellow – Regular Leaf. This is one of the tomatoes that masquerades as a lemon! A very heavy producer of brilliant yellow tomatoes. Collected in Irkutsk, from a gardener. I didn't take a picture of this as it is identical to Plum Lemon.
